Who is your favorite accountant? (Real or fake)

There are so many famous accountants - more than I even thought!

We have real ones, like Luca Pacioli "The father of accounting", J.P. Morgan (yes, he was real!) and Josiah Wedgwood, the first cost accountant.

Possibly more fun, though, are the fictional characters.

Here are my top 5:

Ben Wyatt, Parks and Recreation

Barney Varmn, Parks and Recreation

Allen Gamble, The Other Guys

Kevin Malone, The Office

Albert Brennaman, Hitch

Who are your favorites?

  • Allen Gamble from The Other Guys definately is my favorite!!

Haha @Colin he wouldn't be a good fit for our community ? That was a great sketch. My family used to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail all the time! I think my brother still quotes it

Colin - too funny! Growing up in Bellingham Washington ( about 40 minutes south of the Canadian border), I remember watching a lot of Monty Python & some Benny Hill also! Not too old for me. In fact, I still quote from the movie "Monty Python & The Holy Grail"....:)?

There's a guy I used to work with, circa 2015 - he was very real. I'll call him Ted, to protect his identity. He was my least favorite accountant.

    That is all.

Technically he's not an accountant, but Chuck Liddell has a degree in accounting. Instead of crunching numbers, he chose to crunch Tito Ortiz. And that's the last time I'm going to attempt making any type of cheesy accounting/math metaphors.
